Пляжи простираются вдоль береговой линии: Long Beach (Phra Ae), Kantiang Bay, Klong Dao и другие уединённые бухты, где можно наслаждаться морем и закатами без суеты. Территория Mu Ko Lanta National Park занимает значимую часть побережья и предоставляет возможности для пеших походов по джунглям, обозрения мангров и обзора скрытых бухт. Водные развлечения — сноркелинг и дайвинг у коралловых садов близлежащих островов Koh Haa и Koh Rok; можно организовывать однодневные туры к рифовым местам. Старый город Ланты — очаровательное место для вечерних прогулок, знакомства с местной кухней и рыбацкой культурой. Лучшее время для визита — сухой сезон с ноября по апрель, когда море прозрачно и погода спокойная; дождливый сезон приносит зелень и меньшую толпу, но требует подготовки к коротким ливням и переменам погоды. Как добираться: паромы и скоростные катера связывают Ko Lanta Yai с Крабби Таун и Ao Nang, через Trang и Lambda часто проходят пересадки; удобны маршруты через Пхукет и Бангкок с пересадками, поэтому планировать путь стоит заранее.
